Therma for Consultants

For the weeks that belong to the client.

Consulting means living inside other people's deadlines. Therma is a 60-second check-in that stays yours: one honest data point a day, connected to your sleep and travel, so the pattern under the engagements becomes visible.

The problem

Consulting compresses everything: new client, new city, new version of you by Monday morning. The weeks blur into decks and airports, and the only measure that counts is delivered work. So the Tuesday you snapped at a colleague and the Thursday you could not focus get filed under tiredness and forgotten.

The crash that follows every engagement feels like a personal failing rather than a pattern. It is not random. It is data you never got to see, because the calendar was never yours to study.

The engagement ends. The week it took out of you shows up two Tuesdays later.

How Therma helps

Therma asks for 60 seconds, usually in a cab or a hotel bed. You mark how the day actually felt, and the weekly reveal lines that up against your sleep, travel days, and the shape of the engagement.

After a few weeks the pattern is hard to miss: which clients run heavier, which habits actually help on the road, and how long the post-sprint dip really lasts. Clarity you can plan the next engagement around.

What you get

  1. 1
    The 60-second check-in

One question, answered honestly, from any timezone. No blank page, no writing assignment at 11pm in a hotel room.

  2. 2
    The weekly reveal

Your mood lined up against sleep, travel, and workload. The reveal shows which weeks ran heavier and what the road actually costs you.

  3. 3
    Chat

Some days need more than a check-in. Chat sits with the thing you cannot say in a status meeting. No advice, no fixing.

Common questions

Does Therma work across timezones and travel weeks?

Yes. The check-in takes 60 seconds from wherever the week put you, and the reveal reads your sleep through Apple Health or Oura no matter which timezone produced it. Travel-heavy stretches are exactly where the patterns get interesting.

I barely have time between client calls. How much does this ask?

Sixty seconds a day. That is the whole practice. The reveal does the synthesis for you at the end of the week, so the insight arrives without homework.

Is this therapy?

No. Therma is a self-awareness practice, not treatment. It lives in the gap between silence and therapy: a place to notice what the work is doing to you before it compounds.
