Therma for Nurses

Twelve hours of noticing everyone else.

Nursing spends your attention on other people's worst days. Therma is a 60-second check-in for the drive home: one honest moment for the person who carried the shift.

The problem

A shift asks you to read every room, absorb every family's fear, and stay kind through hour eleven. Then it sends you home with nowhere to put any of it. Nights flip your sleep, back-to-backs blur together, and the culture treats running on empty as a personality trait.

You can name what every patient needs and lose the thread on what you do. The weight does not announce itself. It accumulates quietly, one shift at a time.

You noticed everything on that floor except what it did to you.

How Therma helps

Therma asks for one minute, usually in the car or before the shower. Mark how the shift actually felt, and the weekly reveal lines it up against your sleep and the rhythm of your rotations. Patterns emerge that the schedule hides: which rotations run heaviest, how long a night stretch really echoes, and what a genuine day off does for you.

It is not another obligation. It is the smallest possible way to stay on your own list.

What you get

  1. 1
    The 60-second check-in

Sixty seconds, scrubs still on. One question about how the shift actually landed, answered before the day gets rewritten as fine.

  2. 2
    The weekly reveal

Mood against sleep and shift patterns, week over week. The reveal shows what nights, floats, and stretches actually cost.

  3. 3
    Chat

The shift that will not leave. Chat sits with it, without advice, without minimizing, without needing you to be the strong one.

Common questions

I work nights. Does the timing matter?

No. The check-in fits whatever your circadian situation is; morning for you might be 8pm. The reveal reads your actual sleep through Apple Health or Oura, flipped schedule and all.

Is this a mental health service?

No. Therma is a private self-awareness practice, not care and not a crisis resource. If a shift leaves you in real distress, a professional or a crisis line is the right door; Therma is for the ordinary accumulation in between.

I have no energy left for an app.

That is the design constraint. Sixty seconds, one question, no writing required. On the worst days, the mood ring alone is enough.
